Middle of no-where?

In the middle of the journey
When you reasoned
And felt, that this
is not worth it -

You quit my love.

That day
When I lost ‘you’
I found my precious self.

For love

Do you remember?

The first time we met

Exchanging the strange expressions

Unsure why the heart was beating faster

And the world seemed nicer.

The first call that you made

We talked for hours

Then wondering what the talk was about.

How we became friends

Over few cups of coffee

The ups and downs

Binding us into something known as love

That never let us live apart.

The first time we fought

Saying those words which I didn’t mean

And then consoling that life without you is a life not led.

The first time I cried

You held the tear

Said it was precious as a pearl coz it was mine.

The first time I promised

To love you forever

In that pouring rain

Where you could hardly hear.

Do remember --

No matter even if I have said it a thousand times

I am here to stay

To love you for now and for always…

Twisted wish

I want to make a wish
That my only wish must be you, love.
And if you do not wish to be with me
Then let the wishes be unwished.

Honour

“Why me?” is the question, my love
That haunts me like a gloomy ghost.

When I, in the hour of twilight
Promised to offer you my soul
And chiseled your name
On the chest of my dim lit heart;
You showered me with the coyote lies,
Burning the trust all the while.

Don’t you know that a man
Who can’t stand by his words,
Is a man better dead?

Away

In between our souls
When distance embraced each parting step
I was not to choose.
So I let myself to disintegrate --
To become your dream
That could never be disowned.
